A new owner might make a major infusion into a stagnating line allowing it to refurbish and upgrade the line. Or it can siphon off income from the line by reducing service and quality levels, as we’ve seen in a few luxury brands.
You may be surprised to learn that your favorite brand is owned by one of the big three – Carnival, Royal Caribbean, or Norwegian Cruise Line.
